Watani Investment Company KSCC (“NBK Capital”) is a Kuwaiti closed shareholding company established in the State of Kuwait on 8/6/2005 under the Commercial Companies Law No. 15 of 1960 repealed by the Companies Law No. 25 of 2012 (amended by Law No. 97 of 2013) repealed by the Companies Law No. 1 of 2016.

Watani Investment Company is registered with and licensed by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. It is also licensed and regulated by the Capital Markets Authority.

The issued and paid-up capital of the company is KD 15,620,000. National Bank of Kuwait S.A.K.P. is the main shareholder in the company with an interest amounting to 99.93% of the company’s capital.

The total Assets Under Management as of 31 December 2021 excluding brokerage and custody services was KD 2,148 million (US$7.1 billion)
