In compliance with the requirements of the Capital Markets Authority in the State of Kuwait (CMA) concerning corporate governance, the Board of Directors of Watani Investment Company KSCC (“NBK Capital”) is supported by three committees. The Board of Directors of NBK Capital approved the charters of its Board Committees. The responsibilities of each Board Committee are specified in its charter in line with the requirements of the CMA concerning corporate governance.
The principal role of the Nominations and Remunerations Committee is to prepare recommendations pertaining to nominations for membership of the Board of Directors and executive management and recommendations pertaining to the policies and bylaws that regulate the payment of compensations and remunerations.
